Description

Lift Up America, the Denver Nuggets, and Tyson Foods are teaming up to bring the gift of food to the Denver area's less fortunate this holiday season. The entire team will help unload a truck of more than 30,000 pounds of much-needed protein to be distributed to over 30 hunge relief agencies in the city. The players will be helped by 50 student-volunteers from Wyman Elementary School. Food distribution begins at 2PM.

Lift Up America is a non-profit humanitarian aid organization connecting those with assets and serving hearts with the real needs of children from less fortunate families. Lift Up America unites powerhouse corporations, professional sports teams, the entertainment industry, and grassroots agencies to provide compassionate aid at unique events in cities across the U.S. The sports and entertainment events honor the less fortunate who receive food and other basic needs as well as hope for their future.
