Description:
This continues our series of events designed to lift up America’s less fortunate. Each event combines the generosity of companies, the caring of college and professional sports teams, and grass-roots effectiveness of local charitable agencies.
On October 10th, we will be hosting a Lift Up America Sports Team humanitarian aid event and press conference at pier 30 in San Francisco. We will be guests of the US Navy as part of the San Francisco Fleet week. The USS Bonhomme Richard will be docked at the pier and will serve as the back ground for our event along with the USS Nimitz and the Bay Bridge. The event included the press conference followed by the product distribution which will include protein provided by Tyson, food staples, and many other items. The Oakland Raiders will also participate and invitations have gone out to the S.F. 49ers (NFL) and the S.F. Giants (MLB) to participate also.
Schedule:
7:00AM – Security cleared volunteers arrive to set up.
11:00AM – National Press Conference
Noon-2:00PM - Product distribution
5:30-8:00PM – Private reception aboard the USS Nimitz (by invitation only)
