April 24, Dallas, Texas --
Despite severe weather in the Dallas area, more than 2000 children and their families were treated like stars as part of Lift Up America's Giving Hope Tour.
Most premieres focus on the movie stars, directors, and producers, but this "Meet Me in Miami" premiere was all about the audience. Less fortunate children and their families arrived by limousine, walked the red carpet, saw themselves on the JumboTron, and were welcomed by celebrities and local dignitaries who asked for their autograph.
"We can do something to give them hope and dignity that changes their feeling of self worth and gives them the confidence that they can be the next President, the next general, the next business leader, or the next inventor of something wonderful," said Karen Faith Heller, CEO of CogMotion, Inc, who helped bring these children to this event.

These "Honored Guests" arrived at the Dallas premiere in style. Busses full of kids and their families gathered outside the theatre. There they excitedly clambered into one of a fleet of limousines. For most, it was their first ride in one. Here tuxedo greeters (in top hats) and VIPs welcome them to the red carpet following their short ride around the theatre.
