On June 2, hundreds of less fortunate children and their families experienced a thrilling day at Arrowhead Stadium thanks to the Kansas City Chiefs and other LUA partners.

The wonderful pictures below will tell the story better than we could in words. (See the Photo Gallery).

Many thanks to Clark Hunt and the Kansas City Chiefs, The Simmons Companies, Lenexa Christian Center, United Way, Price Chopper, Servant Entertainment, the Cass County Shriners, Applebus, The Roasterie, Dunbrooke, CVS Pharmacy, and the many volunteers who made this picture perfect day possible.

The LUA MVPs arrive for their special day at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

A young fan makes sure her new LUA t-shirt is just right.

All the LUA MVPs received hot dogs and other goodies at their very own tailgate party. Price Chopper donated the food and the Cass County Shriners cooked it up on their big grills. Yum! No problem getting mustard on these shirts!

LUA MVPs received free cameras to record their own special memories of the day. Say, "Chiefs!"

KC Wolf cheers on these honored guests as they enter Arrowhead Stadium. Named the new Kansas City Chiefs' mascot in 1989, KC Wolf entered the Mascot Hall of Fame (MHOF) in 2006. No kidding.

Clark Hunt, owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, Dave Hannah, CEO of Lift Up America, Gary Cram, COO of Lift Up America, and others personally greeted each MVP as they walked down the field to their own special section in the stands.

The LUA MVPs had the thrill of being larger than life on the giant video screens above the stadium.

These LUA guests had front row seats to the intra-squad scrimmage. We guess in some situations, everybody really is a winner!

#56 Derrick Johnson, who was also part of our Kansas City movie premiere in December, addresses the LUA crowd with words of inspiration following the scrimmage.

They have our back. The wonderful sponsors of our Kansas City Stadium event grace the rear panel of our unmistakable yellow t-shirts.
