Miami Stadium Event
Greetings from Lift Up America!

Wayne Huizenga Jr., owner of the Miami Dolphins, hosted more than 1,500 children during an unforgettable day at Dolphin Stadium.

Our Miami Stadium event was a great success. More than 1,500 less fortunate children and their chaperones were treated to an uplifting time at Dolphin Stadium. Everything went smoothly and more importantly, lives were touched.
“I would like to thank your organization for the invitation to the children within the City of Opa-locka to attend the pre-season Dolphins game. The City of Opa-locka usually gets negative press, focusing on our issues of crime, poverty, and other social ills. It is organizations like yours that give inner city children hope and the knowledge that there are people who really care for their well being. It is my wish that your acts of generosity and kindness will transcend within our young people so that they too can share in acts of kindness in their own communities.”
- Starex Smith – Assistant City Manager, Opa-locka, Florida.

The day began with a private tailgate party for our MVPs. Generous sponsors donated the food, and volunteers served.

The fun included fantastic Dolphin face-painting and other activities. Go Fins!

A steel drum group entertained the MVPs before the game.

LUA MVPs formed a giant American flag during the pre-game ceremonies.

Exciting game action!
