On Monday, November 6, Major League Soccer team, FC Dallas, hosted a Lift Up America event at their fabulous new Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas. Many Dallas/Fort Worth agencies received chicken from Tyson Foods, batteries from Interstate Batteries, teddy bears, and more.
Clark Hunt, whose family owns FC Dallas, the Columbus Crew, and the Kansas City Chiefs (NFL), was on hand to welcome guests and volunteers. "My family and I have been actively involved with Lift Up America since its inception, and we could not be more pleased with the tremendous growth the organization has experienced in such a short time. We look forward to continuing our efforts together in the future.”, says Clark.
FC Dallas is a first-class organization on and off the field. They had the best record in the MLS this season and went deep into the play-offs. They are involved in a number of community outreach projects in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Yours for Helping to Lift Up America,
Dave Hannah

Clark Hunt, a former collegiate soccer star, welcomes LUA partners and volunteers to Pizza Hut Park which hosted the Major League Soccer championship only six days later. This brand new and innovative stadium is the home of FC Dallas and will also be used for major concerts, high school football, and other community events.

Interstate Batteries, a Dallas area company, sent their stretch limousine to this LUA event to give away batteries and help lift up the less fortunate in the DFW area.
