In our Kansas City entertainment event, leaders from 3 different arenas (business, sports, Hollywood) came together to lift up the less fortunate. Derrick Johnson is a 6'-3", 242-pound star linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs. Just because he crushes opposing quarterbacks for a living doesn't mean he doesn't care.

“Nothing gives me more pleasure than helping others, especially children,” Johnson said. “I was truly blessed to be involved with this event . . . letting these individuals know that they matter. Man, it just really touched me to lend my name and join Lift Up America in this important cause.”

Lift Up America would not be where it is today without the partnership of professional and college sports teams. We are grateful to Derrik Johnson and his teammates. They are heroes on and off the field.

Yours for helping lift up America,
