It's the day after September 11th. In a coordinated operation, the warship slips quietly into New York Harbor. But this is no act of aggression. It's Lift Up America and its partners joining forces to attack hunger.
Lift Up America's Kick-Off will launch its nation-wide Fall food distribution with professional and university sports teams on September 12th at historic Pier 92. This exciting event will bring together Tyson Foods, Lenscrafters, the Starkey Hearing Foundation, Interstate Batteries, the Giants football team, hundreds of local charitable agencies, and a host of volunteers to lift up the less fortunate in New York City.

The gift of food: Thousands of individuals and agencies will receive the gift of food thanks to Tyson Foods and other generous providers.
The gift of hearing: Testing and hearing-aids will be donated by the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
The gift of sight: Lenscrafters' volunteers will fit children with brand new pairs of glasses through their Gift of Sight Foundation.
