October 6th: Pier 30-32: San Francisco --

Lift Up America events always include the gift of food. Whether it’s protein provided by Tyson, other food staples, or 3500 bags of red delicious “Super Apples” provided by Domex Marketing to our San Francisco event -- it really does make a difference.

It can make the difference . . .

. . . between a child going to school hungry or being attentive that day.

. . . for a father choosing whether to buy food or medicine for his family with his few remaining dollars.

. . . for a single mother with a minimum wage job trying to make it to the end of the month.

Thank you for your partnership in Lift Up America. Together we are making a difference.

Yours for Helping to Lift Up America,

Dave Hannah

Chairman/CEO Lift Up America

Sailors from the USS Bonnehomme Richard (ship in background) help load boxes of Tyson chicken into the van of a charitable organization which will, in turn, provide for the families of the less fortunate around the Bay Area.

Tyson truck driver, Richard Robbins, (on right), poses with Eric Hannah, LUA Director of Media Relations. Richard drove 1900 miles from Elma, Arkansas, to deliver 30,000 pounds of Tyson frozen chicken for families in the Bay Area. That's enough to provide protein for over 100,000 individual meals. That really makes a difference.

This is LUA in action. A generous company (Tyson), a local sports team (Oakland Raiders player in white), our military, and local charitable agencies teaming together to help the less fortunate. Here, a representative of a local agency receives the first box of a larger allotment of Tyson chicken that will allow them to give much needed protein to less fortunate families in their communities.
